Certificate 3 in Formwork/ Falsework

This Certificate III in Formwork/Falsework is a practical course delivered on the job, allowing participants to validate and improve their skills and knowledge within their trade.

This course covers content for both residential and commercial applications.

Certificate 3 in Construction Waterproofing

This Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing is a practical course delivered on the job, allowing participants to validate and improve their skills and knowledge within their trade.

Over 12 months, you’ll learn skills ranging from general construction best practices to specific waterproofing techniques.  Find out how to waterproof building spaces, learn how to conduct basic demolitions, and explore potential business opportunities.

On site, on the job with monthly visits, plus up to 3 sessions off the job.

Certificate 3 in Civil Construction Plant Operations

The Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations provides training for individuals working as skilled operators with civil construction plant, who apply a broad range of skills in varied work contexts, using some discretion and judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge.

This practical course is delivered mainly on the job, allowing participants to learn, gain, validate and improve their skills and knowledge in civil construction.

12 Months

Certificate 4 Building and Construction (Building)

The Certificate IV in Building & Construction (Building) is designed to meet the needs of people working in the building industry and who aim to work towards becoming builders and managers of small to medium-sized building projects.

This nationally recognised qualification will increase your knowledge and skills in the Residential Building Industry. This program helps develop skills in project supervision, building project management, building estimating and construction business management.

Duration:

12 Months

Delivery:

1 x 5-hour online zoom class per week plus revision as necessary

Participants who are eligible for Government funding will pay no tuition fees

Diploma of Building and Construction (Building)

A Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) will teach you about the theoretical and practical components of low- and medium-rise builds, as well as delivering essential skills around compliance and risk management.

It is specifically designed for learners from a trades background who have already completed the Certificate IV in Building and Construction, and who can demonstrate commitment to taking another step in their career pathway. It requires learners to be actively engaged in the construction industry so they can demonstrate the practical aspects of the course in their worksites.

Duration:

18 months (12 months with credit transfers)

1 x 5-hour online zoom class per week plus revision as necessary
